Phone Hours: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Walk-In Hours: Monday-Wednesday & Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Thursday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
The Cashier's Office is responsible for receipting and depositing all the money paid to the University. These include payments from students, parents, and employees. We also accept Redbird Card deposits, student account payments, and payments to various fee accounts.
Because the Cashier's Office is not a bank, students are not able to open checking and savings accounts through the office. However, check cashing is available to students.
Illinois State University student payroll checks may be cashed at the Cashier's Office for a 50 cent fee. The student must present a valid student I.D. (Redbird Card).
Personal checks may be cashed at the Cashier's Office under the following circumstances:
Transcript requests are handled by Transcript Services of the Cashier's Office (309) 438-3408. For your convenience, you may also purchase a transcript at the Cashier's Office.
