Withdrawal Refund Policy Dates Fall 2008

The following information is related to Tuition, General Fee and Outreach fee charges and does not include university housing. Please contact University Housing Services for information related to cancellation of your housing contract.

Withdrawal from a Course

A student who drops a course will be charged according to the following schedule for those hours that have been dropped:

There will be no reduction in charges for courses dropped after September 16, 2008 unless you withdraw from the university. Any student withdrawing after the eligible refund dates is fully liable for any unpaid amounts needed to conform to this refund policy.

Withdrawal from the University

The following policy for all students is summarized in the following table. This refund policy is phrased in terms of charge reductions since students have scholarship application and installment payment plans which may not result in an actual refund to the student. This will affect tuition, general fees and outreach fees.

Withdrawals through September 2, 2008 will result in a reduction of the Student Insurance Fee and cancellation of coverage as of the beginning of the term. Withdrawals after September 2, 2008 will not result in a reduction of the Student Insurance fee and coverage will be in force for the remainder of the term (See Student Insurance Office for more details).

Students withdrawing from the University will have their charges recalculated according to the schedule listed below.

Excludes student insurance if withdrawal is after September 2, 2008.
