Guest Copy Cards may be purchased at Milner Library to be used in Milner's copiers, microfiche, and laser printers. If you have an Illinois State University I.D. (either faculty/staff or student), or a Department Copy Card, you do not need to purchase a Guest Copy Card. Money may be added to the Illinois State University I.D. for copies.
Guest Copy Cards are sold in either of the cash to card machines (3-D machines) located across from the Circulation Desk and inside the Milner Computer Lab. The card itself is $1 and money is added to the card for printing. The cost is 8 cents per page for copiers, microfiche, and laser printers. If cash is used instead of a card, the cost is 10 cents per page. There is a color copier located on the 2nd floor of Milner (the main floor) and copies are 80 cents per page. This machine only accepts cards; cash may not be used for color copies.
If a Guest Copy Card has not been used for the past 18 months, it will be flagged as "Inactive" in the card system. A $5 per month inactive fee will then be charged until the card is either used or the balance is zero.
