Illinois State University has contracted with Suzi Davis Travel and National Car Rental to provide air travel and car rental services to the University. State of Illinois contracts may also be used for car rental with Budget Rent-A-Car and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Illinois State also has a contractual arrangement with the Club Quarters hotel property. Club Quarters hotels are located in major cities in the United States and in London. These partnerships provide Illinois State University with excellent negotiated rates and additional benefits not provided through other sources. When making travel arrangements with these partners, indicate you are with Illinois State University and provide the account I.D. number to receive the negotiated rates. These contracts may be used for business or personal travel.
The Governor’s Travel Control Board has negotiated a State of Illinois fare with Amtrak for three routes. Fares are:
These fares are not available through the Internet. Reservations can be made by calling (800) USA-RAIL and speaking to a customer service representative or made in person at the Amtrak ticket office. Ask for the Government Business Travel Rate. Reimbursement for Amtrak is limited to the above amounts for these routes.

The contract is for downstate Illinois travel. You must use our discount number of ILGOVT1. The first three letters of the company name is STA. For business or personal use you may also use the Enterprise Illinois State University account contract. The Account ID#N75085 must be used and the first three letters of the company name is ILL. This would allow for weekly rates and a 10 percent additional discount at the airport and 5 percent discount at the local branch.
