The Grant Budget Worksheet that is received from RSP should be completed and returned to Grants Accounting. Budgets are built per contract specifications.
If agencies require specific dollars for defined expenses, the accounts will be built with allocated dollars in different umbrella accounts (salaries, contractual, commodities, etc.). If agencies allow the Principal Investigator flexibility in spending, only a general umbrella account will be used, with all object codes pooled to that umbrella.
