LAN Coordinators have been trained on the acquisition, installation, and configuration of the UI desktop application on departmental workstations. Therefore, it is highly recommended that LAN Coordinators or technical support staff actually perform installations.

Datatel UI Desktop 2.3 Installer (10/30/09)
This MSI install package contains the installation files necessary for the client portion of the UI 2.3 file installation. This installation includes only the UI 2.3 graphical user interface. If you need the Datatel Terminal (a.k.a. "colon prompt") installation, please contact Systems Support at 438-5740 or Shirley Murphy at 438-7613 or samurph@ilstu.edu.

Installation notes (PDF; 54KB) This install requires credentials to connect to the server to complete the install. If prompted for User ID and password to connect to a server, please supply any valid AD credentials. Although the install requires administrative rights on the system, subsequent script refreshes will not require admin rights.
